New Leadership 计划 Big for 费什伯恩 Military School 和 Augusta County

Waynesboro, VA – 费什伯恩 Military School (FMS) welcomes its new president, R和al E. 棕色(的), on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. 棕色(的) will publicly re-commit his oath of office 和 be promoted to Colonel, testifying his allegiance to the Commonwealth of Virginia 和 to 费什伯恩 Military School.

Colonel 棕色(的) will have his new rank placed on him by his wife, Mrs. Kristen Pryor 棕色(的), 和 Brigadier General William W. 亚历山大,小., the former 费什伯恩 Military School Superintendent 和 1964 graduate of FMS, who currently serves as a trustee on the school governing board.

With 30 years of experience working in school leadership, 和 23 years of service in the Army National Guard, 棕色(的) will be a key leader in 费什伯恩’s daily educational operations 和 long-term visions for the school 和 its community.

FMS is advancing through its school rebr和 和 campus master plan. 布朗的州, “We want 费什伯恩 to be a network for the community: where the cadets have active participation in its community as volunteers, 和 the school to continue to assist in the development of Waynesboro 和 Augusta County as an attractive destination of Virginia.”

FMS is marching towards 2029 to celebrate its 150th year as an educational establishment, making it the oldest military school in Virginia still in operation. For the school to continue offering education since 1879 demonstrates its ability to honor its historic values 和 be forward-thinking.

Nicole Overton, formerly Interim Superintendent, will work alongside Colonel 棕色(的) as Deputy Superintendent of the school. “I’ve had many conversations with Colonel 棕色(的), 和 he is passionate about 费什伯恩. He has a common-sense approach to how we need to move forward to be successful. I am sincerely looking forward to working with him for many years.”
